Modern craftsman

Designed by Claire Remsberg Architecture

Built for Pete’s own growing family, the Modern Craftsman is a compact home that was designed to be added onto in two phases without modifying the roof. The home is exceptionally energy efficient with triple-pane windows and Pete’s preferred wall construction method, insulated framed walls with a continuous rigid insulation wrap. This is a very cost-effective way to eliminate heat loss through thermal bridging. The finishes include Windfall Lumber trim, exposed wood, and radiant floors.
